About the event

The Chaff Bridge (Spreuerbrücke): Get to know more about the Spreuerbrücke of Lucerne and its baroque picture panels "Der Totentanz" (Dance of the Death). The Spreuerbrücke  was built in 1408. 

Next stop at Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke): The Chapel Bridge and the water tower from the 14th century were once part of the town fortification. We will cross the River Reuss and take a closer look at the 205-metre-long bridge. 

You will also learn where the Hofbrücke (the forgotten longest wooden  bridge of Lucerne) once stood and its history.
